Body Image Breakthrough- This program provides participants tips on how to let go of negative thoughts and a harmful body image and gain self-acceptance.

 

How Stress Makes us Fat- A look at the impact of stress on increased body fat and weight gain.  We review steps participants can take to lower cortisol levels in the body and the associated stress/weight gain that is associated with this cycle.  We also review sugar addiction, insulin resistance and the value of low glycemic eating.

 

THRIVE- How to Obtain Optimal Health and Well-Being- In this presentation we look beyond the importance of exercise and sound nutrition for good health to review some lesser known steps that play a vital role in our ability to flourish, including self-care, relaxation, adequate sleep and positive thinking.  Participants will learn how to create a specific and measurable health goal for sustained health and well-being.

 

Why Self-Care Matters- In this presentation we discuss the vital role that self-care plays in our overall health and well-being.  Participants are guided through an exercise that will allow them to create a personal self-care regimen that they can use long after the talk is over!

 

Staying Healthy In Turbulent Times- We examine the role that stress plays in our lives and review some tips that participants can take to reduce and remove sources of stress based on small behavior changes.

 

Mastering Menopause- This presentation looks at some of the changes that occur before, during, and after menopause that are related to our health and well-being, with an emphasis on weight management, and steps we can take to flourish during this time of transition.

This is a 6 session (90 minutes each) workshop that uses a book by the same name to let go of the diet mentality, and realign body, mind and spirit, allowing women to feel at home in their bodies.
